Newlyweds

.

Andy and Angeline are now happily across the ditch having their honeymoon, hand in hand just like these penguins. My thanks to them, I was privileged to be their best man, and to drive this cute bridal car.

the case for faith

The only time I seem to read a book is on the plane these days, traveling alone. This book, not exactly a holiday read but not too hard to digest either.

Lee Strobel's website: http://www.leestrobel.com/

"The case against faith"
- a critique of the book

Case Against Faith, refuted, a response to the above critique

your point of view

What do you see? A black and white picture? A person's head? My boss Ajay?

All of the above. It all depends on your perspective.

Such is the beauty of HSBC's current marketing campaign.

SSA Conference Perth

The most useful thing I've learn from the conference?

When the Qantas captain says "Our flight will be slightly delayed, we're still filling out our papers for the weight of the aircraft" - as he is saying that, chances are your baggage has already been, or in the process of, being taken off the plane, leaving you without your check in stuff when you get there!

So, perhaps, it's better to be ignorant at times, at least my flight was alright coz I have no idea they're threw my baggage off the plane.

Food ..

This is a small city. When the only tower in the city decides to light up in pink, it becomes the focal point. It is a city when the All Blacks lost, it's the only topic Paul Holmes would talk to the deputy Prime Minister about.

It is perhaps in this environment, that some people are, frankly, quite arrogant and up with themselves.

No, that's not a fair comment, there are arrogant people in every land.

Anyway.

Both Merediths in Mt Eden and Magnum Dining Bar in Ponsonby should have a good Christmas this year. The pork belly in Magnum is the best I've had in years.

Nutcase

It suprises me how some registrars can ask their house officers to do the impossible; to request unnecessary/non-urgent investigations yet expect the tests to be done with urgency by other departments.

Communications help, but not if the boss is a nutcase!
